Overview
Vivasoft is looking for skilled Back-End Developers (Laravel) to join our engineering team and contribute to building scalable, high-performance web and mobile solutions for global clients. This role focuses on backend architecture, system reliability, and seamless collaboration with frontend and product teams.
You will work on modern platforms, ensuring performance, stability, and long-term scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems using Laravel
- Build and optimize databases, APIs, and server-side logic for web and mobile applications
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers and designers to ensure smooth integration
- Plan and implement solutions to ensure system reliability, uptime, and performance
- Maintain and enhance existing platforms with new features and optimizations
- Take ownership of backend components throughout the full development lifecycle
- Adapt to new tools, technologies, and project requirements in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Laravel (v8 or later) and PHP backend development.
- Solid understanding of SQL schema design, MySQL optimization, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of RESTful API architecture and API documentation practices (e.g., Postman)
- Familiarity with SOLID principles and clean, testable code practices
- Experience with Git version control and collaborative development workflows.
- Basic understanding of frontend frameworks such as Nuxt for effective collaboration
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- More than 3 years for relevant work experience
Nice to Have:
- Experience deploying or managing servers on AWS or DigitalOcean.
- Familiarity with Stripe API integration.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Previous experience in roles such as Developer, Engineer, or Product-focused teams
