Overview

Vivasoft is looking for Unreal Engine Developers to play a key role in the game creation process, from architectural design to implementation and debugging across multiple platforms.
In this role, you will work with Unreal Engine on complex technical challenges, collaborating closely with Designers, Artists, and Engineers across domains including rendering, gameplay, audio, user interface, online systems, physics, databases, and tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, maintain, test, and debug game systems and engine-level code
  • Write and maintain technical documentation
  • Research, analyze, and report risks, problems, and proposed solutions for current and future development
  • Profile and optimize software components to ensure high performance and stability
  • Research and apply cutting-edge algorithms and techniques
  • Develop tools, features, and engine components following required coding standards
  • Create reusable technologies, systems, and engine components when required
  • Work closely with the Lead Engineer and Line Producer, reporting progress and issues
  • Follow Agile / SCRUM development processes

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in C++, with 4+ years of relevant experience in the gaming industry
  • Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 4 or Unreal Engine 5
  • Solid understanding of game development pipelines and real-time systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills and resilience when working on complex technical challenges
  • Ability to work effectively in an English-speaking work environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field Passion for games and game development

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working across multiple game domains (rendering, gameplay, physics, UI, tools)
  • Strong interest in building reusable systems and engine-level technologies
  • Demonstrated innovation in game engineering or technical problem-solving
